¡We are Miel de Campo!
We bring you raw, natural honey straight from our natural fields. We are committed to creating products that respect natural cycles and the balance between species, favoring the sustainability of resources and the care of the environment.
At every step of our journey, we ensure to guarantee human dignity, product integrity, protection of the planet, and well-being of the bees. These insects contribute to our health and the health of the planet. Saving the bees remains our top priority.
We understand that climate change, pesticides, and unsustainable exploitation of resources threaten bee ecosystems and seriously affect the planet and humanity. We promote the consumption of foods that do not kill, destroy, harm, or forge the cycles of nature, but rather the opposite, that accompany it, that create life, reproduction, and health.
That’s why our production systems prioritize organic methods and seek the proliferation of spaces for pollinators to reproduce. With each jar of honey, we are working to create a healthier world. With each purchase of Miel de Campo, you are collaborating and becoming part of this great project.
MISSION
We promote the production of sustainable foods that protect pollinators and biodiversity, to create a better future for all. We want to show you that there are ways of production that benefit us and nature.
VISION
We believe that a better future is possible! We can all make a big impact on our planet if we start to consider our consumption habits. We want to promote responsibility for our health and the health of the planet.
ETHICS
We emphasize loyalty, transparency, and respect for people and nature. To the bees, without which none of this would be possible, we promise to work only with those who respect them and value them as they deserve. We do it with love, conviction, and commitment.
Meet our story
My name is María Florencia, I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
One of the best memories I have is of the farm where I grew up. I lived with my parents and my two sisters, surrounded by the love of our animals: a dairy cow, calves that I used to feed, sheep, ducks, rabbits, and more!
Weekends in the country were pure adventure and fun. At breakfast with my sisters, we shared toast with our horse “Snow White” through the window, took care of the vegetable garden, and played ball on a mud court. At nightfall, we liked to go to the store, where there was a pool.
Beyond my contact with the outdoors and nature, in my teens I began to become interested in Economics. At the age of 22, I graduated as a Public Accountant from the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA). I worked for many years in large companies that filled me with relationships and experiences, always with the idea of running my own business in the future.
At the age of 24, the incredible world of bees awakened a new passion in me. I learned about the important work of beekeepers and the role of hives in my parents’ field. Finally, having learned a lot about them and their great help to the environment, taking into account the current problems and the negative impacts of processed foods on our health, I decided to open my own honey company.
Thus was born Miel de Campo, a totally natural product with important benefits for the environment. A brand that seeks to expand biodiversity and invites everyone to participate and get involved, so that together we can generate a positive impact on the planet.
